Two Nations. Six Minutes Apart.
The Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link is Malaysia’s first cross-border metro rail project, connecting Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru with Woodlands North in Singapore. MRT Corp, appointed by the Government of Malaysia, is the developer and owner of the civil infrastructure for the Malaysian section of the project.
Spanning approximately 4 km and designed to carry up to 10,000 passengers per hour per direction, the RTS Link will offer a faster, easier and more convenient way to travel between Malaysia and Singapore. Beyond transforming the daily commute, the RTS Link will strengthen connectivity between the two countries, support economic growth and open up new opportunities for people and communities on both sides of the Causeway.
