My e-Gates System Readiness

Autogates Put to the Test at the ICQ Complex

Testing and systems integration are underway with Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia as preparations continue for passenger service.

Equipped with biometric facial recognition and passport or MyNIISe QR code scanning, the autogates are designed to provide fast and automated immigration clearance for eligible travellers.

Across the RTS Link ICQ Complex, 100 e-gates, 10 hybrid gates and 10 manual counters have been installed to support passenger clearance when services begin.

Ground Level Public Surau

Final Touches at the Public Surau

Final touch-ups are underway at the Ground Floor Public Surau as the space moves closer to completion.

The interior draws inspiration from Johor’s rich iron ore heritage, reflected through a palette of earthy-toned tiles that brings a natural and grounded character to the space.

Lockers are also provided for passengers to safely store their belongings while performing their prayers.

Facade Lights Elevation Lightings

Lighting Up the ICQ Complex

Installation of facade lighting across all four elevations of the ICQ Complex was completed on 10 August 2026, with programming now underway to bring the lighting effects to life.

Integrated into the building design, the dynamic facade lighting will create changing displays that highlight the ICQ Complex as a new landmark in Johor Bahru.

The facade itself takes inspiration from the fluttering movement of the Jalur Gemilang. Its interwoven elements symbolise the enduring ties between Malaysia and Singapore, giving architectural expression to the connection between the two nations.

Washroom Facilities

Washroom Facilities Take Shape at the ICQC

Washroom facilities are taking shape at the RTS Link Immigration, Customs and Quarantine Complex (ICQC), with features designed to support passenger comfort and convenience.

The women’s washrooms are provided at a 2:1 ratio compared to the men’s washrooms, with a dedicated powder area for women to freshen up.

Washrooms for persons with disabilities (OKU) are also provided, while the interior wallpaper motifs are inspired by the lush greenery of Malaysian forests.
